How does data licensing work with Corsano?
The short call, the qualification, the introduction to a buyer, and what you control at every step.
Process
One short call to find out what your records are worth. We do the legwork, the buyer does the rest.
- 01
A 15-minute call
We call you and ask a few questions about your systems, how many years of records you hold and how many people use them. No files, no export.
- 02
Qualification
We check your answers against what data buyers look for: years of history, systems of record, record types and seats. If it isn't a fit, we tell you straight away.
- 03
A warm introduction
With your permission, we introduce you to an established data buyer. They handle the evaluation, privacy and contracts. Your records never pass through us.
- 04
An offer, your decision
The buyer reviews your records and makes an offer. You decide whether to go ahead. Our fee is paid by the buyer, never by you.
Your control
You decide at every step.
- What you share
- Only the systems, years and record types you choose.
- What you keep
- Ownership of every record. A licence is not a sale of the data itself.
- What is excluded
- Anything sensitive, plus anything you choose to leave out.
- What you approve
- The buyer, the scope, the privacy rules and the price, before anything moves.
- When you are paid
- On the schedule in your agreement with the buyer, which you see before signing.
Corsano's fee is paid by the buyer, never by you. A signed licence does not guarantee further sales.
Why buyers pay
What AI developers do with your records.
- 01
Train new models
Real job histories teach models how a request turns into a result in a specific trade.
- 02
Fine-tune existing models
Domain records help general models give specific, correct answers about your kind of work.
- 03
Test and evaluate
Solved cases become benchmarks that show whether a model can handle real work before it ships.
Licences are time-limited and scoped. What happens to the data when a licence ends is written into the contract before you sign.
